At IQM, we are on a mission to shape the future of quantum computing, and we are looking for an IT Support Lead to join our global IT and Cyber Security team. In this role, you will provide expert support to your colleagues, ensure business continuity, and drive the development of our IT Support function. What will I be doing?

• Strategic Planning: Develop and execute plans for the IT Support function to align with business needs.
• Ticket Management: Monitor and ensure progress on IT Support tickets, meeting service-level agreements (SLAs).
• Process Improvement: Evaluate and refine support processes in collaboration with the team and supervisor.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as the IT point of contact for internal and external support inquiries.
• Hands-On Support: Participate directly in providing IT support as a specialist.
• User Feedback: Gather insights from end-users to enhance the support experience and manage expectations.
• Communication Standards: Ensure all customer interactions meet agreed communication standards
• Task Prioritization: Assess and prioritize workload effectively to focus on the most critical tasks.

What skills do I need?

• A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a similar or leadership role.
• A solid understanding of IT systems, processes, and support principles.
• Familiarity with support frameworks like ITIL.
• Experience in support organizations, ideally in a team lead capacity.
• Knowledge of information security and business continuity principles.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain technical topics clearly to diverse audiences.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing company priorities.

While not required, the following qualifications will set you apart:

• A degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, IT, or Systems Engineering.
• Experience in software development, cyber security, or privacy compliance.
• Previous experience in a start-up environment.
• Knowledge of quantum computing and related technologies.
• Team management experience.
