- Conduct Design for Manufacturability (DFM) reviews and provide feedback to design teams to enhance production efficiency.
- Develop and document process instructions, procedures, and work instructions for new products.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop test plans and validation protocols, including Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ).
- Analyze test data and generate reports to verify that products meet all specifications and performance requirements.
- Manage NPI project plans and schedules, ensuring that all milestones and deliverables are met.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges during the Product Introduction & Development (PID) process.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements for new products.
- Contribute to root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for identified issues.
- Assist in specifying, procuring, and qualifying equipment and tooling for new product manufacturing.
- Work closely with equipment engineers to ensure proper installation and qualification of manufacturing equipment.
- Develop and implement maintenance and calibration procedures for new tools and equipment.
- Provide training and technical support to manufacturing teams for new processes and equipment.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in manufacturing processes, cost reduction, and product quality enhancement.
- Implement best practices and leverage lessons learned from previous NPIs to optimize future product introductions.
What skills do I need?
- Strong understanding of product development and manufacturing processes, particularly in microfabrication and quantum technologies.
- Knowledge of process development, tooling, equipment qualification, and quality assurance.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and implement effective solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and drive cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
What can I expect from IQM?
- An opportunity to work with a passionate and diverse team on an important mission
- A unique opportunity to make a real impact on the future of quantum
- Growth and progress in a creative and open start-up environment
